Ideology is the attempt to use one idea to explain all of reality. You see this happening all over these days. The Internet has made it worse. As our culture has moved more and more away from it Christian and Classical foundations, various ideologies of the left and right have moved in to try to fill the vacuum.

If we want to have a more cohesive and less polarized society, we must begin to advocate publicly for the opposite of ideology, and the opposite of ideology is virtue.
